“He was really excited to see what we’d done and thought we’d be perfect for what he had in mind.” What started out as a single loft for a bachelor soon morphed as the client got married, his wife became pregnant, and he was offered the opportunity to buy the adjacent loft. “He asked us if that was something we could pull off,” recalls Chinmaya Misra, Pande’s wife and partner. “We looked at each other and said, of course.” The new space is “palatial,” says Misra, “it’s almost half the floor and reaches from north to south with this beautiful eastern exposure”
